GOP to Obama: We're Not Moving On
Fri Apr 18, 2014
Seeing that banner held up by the religious folks in the picture accompanying this article makes it clear that so many of the far right have perverted their religious beliefs. They have politicized them to the point that they actually stand for the opposite of what their god has preached. &nbs …
Portland Reservoir to be Drained After Teen Pees in Water
Thu Apr 17, 2014
As rainy and wet as it is in Portland, they can refill that reservoir in a day or two.
Is It The Black Box? 'It Will Be Extremely Difficult to Recover'
Mon Apr 7, 2014
In reply to: TB - Texas #4 You're absolutely right. The only thing I can think of that keeps that from happening is some kind of cost, no matter how tiny. GM killed people over a 57-cent piece because they felt it would be cheaper to pay restitution to the victims' families than pu …

Treatment or Jail: Patrick Kennedy Wages Fierce Anti-Pot Crusade
Mon Feb 17, 2014
Sorry, but Kennedy seems far more driven by his own demons than by any science or studies out there. If he really wanted to attack a problem, he could focus on alcohol. But, then, we all know how that worked out the last time the government tried to make it illegal.
Animated Boehner: 'There's nothing complex about the Keystone Pipeline!'
Tue Feb 4, 2014
I'm still a bit confused as to why this is such a big deal for Republicans. They've lied about the jobs (there will only really be a handful), and they've lied about profits and oil for US energy (all of the oil goes to the Gulf and straight into the international market, not to the US).
